Temple of the Olympian Zeus Construction for the Temple of the Olympian Zeus which began in 530 B.C. was resumed by Antiochus IV around 190 B.C. The Corinthian style columns are made of Pentelic marble. The structure which is the largest temple in Greece was completed by the Roman emperor Hadrian in the 2nd century A.D.
